Support for publications, proposals, article review, graphic design, and web development for enhanced research communication.

Expertise and Resources

ESRAC offers specialized expertise in risk assessment support, modeling, simulation testing, and exposure analysis. The center utilizes advanced techniques such as tracers, controlled chambers, simulation rooms, and behavior monitoring to conduct in-depth exposure analyses. ESRAC employs state-of-the-art environmental testing methods and equipment, including HydroSphere, YSI multi sonde, PCR, IDEXX, and ATP monitoring.

National Leadership in Exposure Science

ESRAC faculty are recognized leaders in the field of environmental risk assessment, particularly related to water quality and infection transmission in the built environment. Our strategic partnerships with academic institutions like Michigan State University, Ohio State University, University of Texas, and University of Leeds, along with industry collaborators, contribute significantly to our success.

Real-World Impact and Outreach

We are uniquely focused on outreach activities aimed at reaching a broader audience with messages around targeted hygiene and improved health practices in everyday life that may drive pathogen exposures. We reach a lay audience with applicable, evidence-based research through our extensive media presence. Since our inception, ESRAC research has been featured in hundreds of unique local, national and international television, print, and web outlets including: The Today Show, PBS News Hour, NPR "All Things Considered", CNN, Good Housekeeping, Forbes, Consumer Reports, Wall Street Journal, NY Times, and many more.
